The games interface feels a bit like City of Heros. Though the themes are pretty dark. It's like your trying to save the world by beating back the darkness, but the best you can do is stop things from getting worse.
If you do give it a try, I play as a Templar on Cerberus. Though the server you pick doesn't matter much because you can use the meetup function to visit people on other servers.
